- Developed a rerun-safe automated monitoring pipeline to detect retraction status drift and flag integrity violations across Crossref DOI metadata — an anomaly detection system for scholarly data at scale. See project →
- Applied precision/recall methodology to evaluate keyword-based retraction flag classifiers, identifying 208 DOIs whose retraction status silently changed between April 2023 and July 2024.
- Collected DOI metadata via real-time API pipeline; extracted and compared title keywords against retraction protocol flags to assess classifier reliability.
- Annotated and cleaned dataset; conducted statistical analysis of retraction flag consistency across journals using hypothesis testing and text-based methods.
- Drafted full manuscript, dataset documentation, pipeline documentation, and materials for three conference presentations and posters.
